The first step in that process is a complimentary smile analysis with me in our Bremerton, Gig Harbor, or Port Orchard office. Since this is one of the most important appointments you’ll have with us, you can expect to be greeted warmly and provided with a rewarding and stress-free experience!

Your orthodontic evaluation
Once you arrive at your chosen location,We will need you to fill out the pertinent medical and dental history before digital photographs and x-rays are taken for our diagnostic records. Once these are complete, I’ll perform an in-depth but painless examination of your mouth.
The information that we collect is used to evaluate your current orthodontic situation and diagnose any issues. It’s also part of me developing a customized treatment plan for your specific needs! We want you to feel confident in our expert care and will take time to ensure you understand each step of the process as we go. You can expect to spend about an hour with us for your initial evaluation, which gives us plenty of time to cover important topics like:
- any orthodontic issues we find
- what treatment options are available to correct the problem
- an estimate of how long we expect your treatment to take
- the total expected cost of treatment
- any payment or financing options we have available to you

Once we’ve decided on a treatment plan together, we’ll walk you through everything it includes. Because every patient has specific needs and will respond to treatment in their own way, the total costs will vary from case to case. You never have to worry about hidden fees with our practice, though! We’ll make sure you understand the investment needed for your new smile in detail before we move on to the next step in the process.
Investing in your orthodontic health has many short- and long-term benefits. We want everyone to have the orthodontic care they need! That’s why we’re proud to offer a variety of affordable treatments and payment options to fit every budget, including in-office financing solutions. We also accept all insurance providers, including Medicaid , while military personnel and their dependents receive a 10% discount.
The next step in your orthodontic journey
Once your consultation is complete, we’ll schedule your first appointment. This is typically when your braces will be placed or you will receive your first aligner. It will take about an hour, and you’ll have access to our team during this time should you have any additional questions or concerns. We do everything we can to make this appointment as comfortable and relaxed for you as possible!
Regular follow-up visits are an essential part of the treatment process. Depending on your treatment plan, you’ll see me in the office every 6-10 weeks or so. During these appointments, I’ll check that everything is progressing as it should be and adjust your appliance if necessary. If you’re wearing braces, I may choose to change the wire at this time as well.
We try to schedule check-ups for a day and time that are convenient for you, but we know that things sometimes occur that may cause you to run late or miss your appointment. If this happens, we simply ask that you let us know as soon as possible so we can reschedule the visit for you. This will help us keep your treatment plan on track!
